The Witcher 3 just received a next-gen update which was released on December 14th. This new update comes to all respective platforms of The Witcher 3 and consists of new Netflix-inspired DLC content as well as graphics and gameplay updates for current consoles. What is The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update Download Size: File size
For next-gen consoles, there will be both visual and gameplay improvements. Not only that, but users will relive the incredible experience of The Witcher 3 with stunning visuals, brand new quests and gear inspired by the Netflix adaptation.
Older generations of consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, will have the opportunity to also receive this free next-generation upgrade, which includes the same DLC content as Netflix. However, it rules out any visual or gameplay enhancements not supported by these consoles.

Self games on PC, according to Steam, you’ll need 45GB of available storage space to install the next-gen update.
Download size of the Witcher 3 next-gen update for Xbox Series X/S
As for Xbox, Purexbox says the update itself is between 35-40GB with the game over 50GB. However, if you are installing the next generation update on your Xbox then you will need it 53.66GB storage space available to download the game.
